Sam Robinson appointed CRM Trainer & Apprentice Coach
Working Knowledge is delighted to welcome Sam Robinson to the Digital Marketing Academy as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Trainer and Apprentice Coach beginning in August 2022.
Sam joins the Academy having worked in organisations of all sizes within a Marketing and Digital capacity for over 14 years. His valuable experience ranges from working in agencies on FMCG brands such as Andrex, through to senior in-house marketing roles at Monarch Airlines & Intu Properties. Sam now applies his trade via his own Marketing Agency and Consultancy, Whole of the Moon Marketing.
Sam’s expert-level knowledge on CRM will support Academy apprentices in making impactful additions to their employers’ marketing strategy.
Jo Trendall, operations manager, Working Knowledge, says: “We are delighted to welcome Sam to the team as both a coach to our Digital Marketing apprentices, and a trainer of Customer Relationship Management.
“In addition to running a successful digital marketing agency, I was drawn to Sam as a trainer for the Academy as he is very approachable, friendly and clearly knows his stuff. I am excited to see how Sam grows and develops within the team, and how his calm and friendly manner will help support our apprentices to become brilliant digital marketers.”
Sam will continue to work with agency clients alongside his Academy role, an essential criteria for Academy trainers that allows the apprentices to learn from practising consultants with up-to-the-minute sector knowledge.
His current work includes paid advertising consultancy for a franchise business with over 90 B2C franchises, supporting a European medical organisation with its member communications and CRM, as well as helping a B2B catering company with understanding its clients’ needs and feeding their strategy by focussing on doing best, what matters most.
Says Sam: “It's a pleasure to have been asked to join the team at Working Knowledge. If digital marketing apprenticeships had been an opportunity when I was starting out I'd have jumped at the chance. I'm really excited to be able to take the 14+ years of knowledge that I have built up and now apply through my own agency to help others get the best possible start to their careers as marketers.”
